The Koala Kare KB2600 is a surface-mounted, height-adjustable adult changing station designed for accessibility, safety, and caregiver ease in commercial restrooms. The powered lift system adjusts from 13 25/32" to 37 13/32", providing smooth, ergonomic positioning across a wide range of applications.

Built for demanding environments, the KB2600 features a durable, non-rip high-tension vinyl stretcher mounted to a continuous tubular powder-coated steel frame. The unit supports up to 440 lb. and offers a large changing surface of approximately 71" W x 31.5" D. A fail-safe battery backup allows the unit to be lowered during power loss, while the integrated handheld control provides reliable height adjustment.

Operation

The changing table is operated using a handheld control. Press the raise or lower buttons to position the table at a convenient transfer height, then adjust as needed to provide a comfortable working height for the caregiver and reduce back strain.

The KB2600 is UL and cUL listed and complies with UL 962 and CSA C22.2 No. 68 standards. It features a Class 1 electrical system and IEC 60601-1 certification for use in regulated environments across the US, Canada, and EU.

Installation Notes

Requires a 110–240V electrical connection. Unit is wall-mounted and must be installed on a load-bearing wall capable of supporting up to 1100 lb., with approximately 220 lb. per fixing point. Minimum clearance of 2" is required on each side. Not suitable for heavily chlorinated environments. A wall sign must be installed in a clearly visible position near the unit.
