Ligature-Resistant Restroom Fixtures for Secure Facilities
Berl’s Commercial Supply offers a focused selection of anti-ligature products designed for behavioral health centers, correctional facilities, and other environments where safety and security are critical. These fixtures support patient dignity while minimizing risk—built to meet the highest standards for tamper resistance and durability.
Our lineup includes anti-ligature fixtures such as clothes hooks, mirrors, and recessed toilet paper holders engineered with concealed mounting to prevent attachment points. You’ll also find ligature-resistant grab bars built from heavy-duty materials and designed for safe use without compromising on strength or compliance. There are anti-ligature soap dishes and shelves as well.
What is an anti-ligature product? An anti-ligature product minimizes the ability for a person to hang a rope from that item with the intention of harming themselves. An anti-ligature grab bar, therefore, has a bar that closes the gap between the bar and the wall, so no rope can hang. Another example is a coat hook that is on a tension spring. If too much weight is placed on the hook, it will slide down so that it does not support the object. They are also known as Security Products.
Every product we stock is carefully selected to align with facility guidelines and support staff protocols. Whether you’re building out a new space or updating existing infrastructure, Berl’s provides reliable solutions that balance safety, usability, and long-term performance.
