The Dyson model HU02 is the successor to the very popular AB12. Like the previous model, this hand dryer is ADA compliant, protruding only 4 inches from the wall. It is also a powerful, fast, hand-drying hand dryer in a small, compact frame. In addition, it is now 30% quieter compared to the previous model!
The Dyson Airblade V scrapes the water off of your hands in about 12 seconds. Like the AB12, the HU02 comes with not one, but two HEPA filters, making the air that comes out cleaner and more hygienic than the air going in!

As it says above, this is by far our best selling hand dryer. The combination of a small footprint and quick dry time are what attract people initially, but the sound is what's really impressive. They're not "quiet," no serious hand dryer is, no matter what they tell you. But the HU02 "V" has two things going for it that make it a superior solution. 1. It dries with blades of air which, when they cross your hands, make a ton less noise than other high-speed hand dryers. 2. The Dyson digital motor turns at a much higher speed, which changes the pitch of the sound it makes. Not sure why, but I can tell you it's much, much, much less intrusive and the sound doesn't travel nearly as far. So if noise, space, design, or dry speed are important, this dryer will please. One note: We do recommend the use of a backplate or wall guard with this dryer. See the Dyson DYP-970408-01 which is (of course) perfectly designed for the dryer.
