Sloan OEM part. This is the diaphragm found in Regal flushometers. The diaphragm kit sits directly below the inside cover in the top of a flush valve. It regulates the pressure within a flush valve and when the flushometer handle is pulled, it controls the volume of the flush.

Generally speaking, a flushometer diaphragm will last around 4 years in a busy environment (about 250 thousand flushes!), however, this can be affected by water quality, especially sediment and other contaminants.
If the flush on your fixture is too long, or does not shut off afterwords, the diaphragm may be damaged, clogged, or corroded.
