Elkay Part EWF3000 WaterSentry Plus Retrofit Filter Kit (includes 3000 Gallon filter)

The EWF3000 filter retrofit kit is designed to add filtration to any Elkay EZH2O or Halsey Taylor Hydroboost bottle filling station or any Elkay / Halsey Taylor drinking water fountain. This is the filter kit to purchase if you want to convert a non-filtered Elkay unit to become a filtered unit. For example, of you purchased the EZS8WSLK non-filtered cooler with bottle filling station and you really want it to be filtered, like the LZS8WSLK, use this kit to convert it to a filtered cooler.

The kit comes with the filter head and a filter. You can also purchase replacement filters from Berl’s.

This filter kit is designed to fit inside the cabinet of most Elkay products. If you have a non-Elkay / Halsey Taylor cooler, or there is not enough space inside of your cooler, or if you want filtration for some other purpose, you can purchase the EF1500VRBC filter system which can be installed outside of the unit.

There are two main components to this kit, the filter head and the filter. Any genuine WaterSentry filter that is manufactured by Elkay will be compatible with it. So if you would prefer to use a filter with a greater capacity, you can opt for the WaterSentry 51600C water filter which has a 6000 gallon capacity rather then the standard 3000 gallon capacity of the 51300C filter that comes with the kit.

For standard EZ & HAC8 drinking fountains (including those with bottle fillers attached), the filter kit will typically fit inside the cabinet underneath the basin. For bi-level coolers, the filter can go on the side without the compressor, since there is more space there, so easier to install. In the bottle filling stations, the filter can be installed in the bottom of the unit. For architectural bottle filling stations that have a remote chiller, the filter is installed right next to the chiller for easy access.
