ASI 10-3001-24 Straight Grab Bar / Towel Bar, 1" OD, 24" Long, Concealed Mount

This concealed mount grab bar has a heavy duty flange welded to the end of the grab bar and is attached to the wall using a tenon plate and hex screws. To install it, the tenon plate is first mounted to the wall (fasteners not included). Next, the grab bar is slipped on to the tenon plates and the three pointed hex bolts (included) are screwed in to lock the flange against the tenon plate. This method has the advantage of covering the fasteners with a decorative flange and also of allowing the mount points to be worked on, one at a time, without having to hold the grab bar in place at the same time.
Higheset quality type 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8. 18 Guage thickness.
Mandrell bending process ensures uniform bar diameters.

Architectural Specifications:
Grab Bar-Towel Bar with Flanges for Concealed Mounting shall be type 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8. Tubing shall be 1" diameter (Ø25) x 18 gauge (1.2). Flange shall be heliarc welded to tubing with a continuous concealed bead and shall be 11 gauge (3) thick. Three (3) tamper resistant 1/4-28 stainless steel hex socket set screws shall be supplied for each flange. Mounting Tenon plates shall be fabricated of case hardened cadmium plated 13 gauge (2.3) steel. All exposed surfaces of bar shall have satin finish and be protected during shipment with a plastic bag. For optional non-slip surface add suffix –P (peened).
