Where to find the serial number (and model information)
on my Elkay or Halsey Taylor product
For drinking fountains, bottle fillers, or chilling units, your product should have at least one of the data tag versions below.
Regardless of which format, there are at least three pieces of information included:
MODEL (sometimes also labeled Part No.): This will be the actual model number of the product. It is what Elkay shows as the SKU on their website.
SUB-ASSY (sometimes also confusingly labeled Model No.): This will be the specific production version of your product and will always end with an underscore "_" followed by a number and/or letter. This is the production version; starting with "A" for the first, "B" for the second, etc. and there will be an updated manual corresponding to each of these production changes.
SERIAL NO.: Serial numbers are 9 digits and typically start with year and month of manufacture in the format YYMMnnnnn. For example 170428066 would have been manufactured in April of 2017.

Elkay ADA Barrier Free EZ* and LZ* drinking fountains (both single and bi-level). Halsey Taylor HTVZ* drinking fountains (both single and bi-level). Located under the overhang on the front of the fountain. On bi-level fountains, the tag will be on the master side (the one with the compressor). |  |
