The result of over two years of field research in demanding commercial environments, the BASYS line of faucets is built around shared, robust, components, dramatically improving ease of service.
The EFX-250 faucets are a mid-body format maximizing flexibility for a wide range of use cases. A comprehensive set of features and beautiful designs elevate the user experience. Double infrared sensors (with an automatic setting feature) provide reliable operation. Simple installation (and retrofit) are facilitated by a single hole mounting design with all mounting hardware (and flex hoses) included. In addition, these faucets are battery operated, eliminating the need for an electrical connection.
These faucets are also extremely water efficient while maintaining hand-washing effectiveness. This model features a 0.5 GPM flow rate with multi-laminar output and a 10 second timeout (adjustable).
A below-deck thermostatic mixing valve is included. In addition, an integrated, color-coded mixing lever, is mounted on the side and allows the temperature to be easily controlled (within the range of the thermostatic valve). This lever can also be removed once the temperature is set and the remaining socket covered with a finished plug to discourage tampering.
All external surfaces (except for the sensor area) have a polished chrome finish. This model includes an 8" trim plate in the same finish.
- ONE TOOL SERVICE A single Allen wrench provides access to all key components. No additional tools are required.
- AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF One twist of the solenoid caddy shuts off the water supply to facilitate replacing or cleaning the particulate filter.
- VISIBLE DIAGNOSTICS Individual external diagnostic LEDs indicate the health and status of key components.
- SHARED PARTS Interchangeability of components simplifies orders, upgrades, repairs and maintenance.
- LINE PURGE All models include a line purge function to eliminate the stagnant water that can lead to bacterial growth.
- SLEEP MODE With a touch, staff can temporarily turn off the water supply in order to clean the sing area without activating water flow.
