IMPORTANT: Excel recommends cleaning this metal mesh pre-filter on a quarterly basis to maintain the performance of your XLERATOR.

Replacement metal mesh prefilter ONLY. Used with, but does not include HEPA filter in Excel Dryer XLERATORs.

This prefilter traps larger particles and keeps the HEPA filter from getting prematurely clogged, thereby extending it's life. It is (gently) washable and will last the life of the dryer if carefully and regularly cleaned.
