This Elkay EZH2O® Retrofit Kit will add a hands free bottle filler to a standard Elkay EZ or LZ single or bi-level drinking fountain. Installation involves removing the existing basin (on the master side for bi-level fountains) and then installing this kit in it's place. See the installation guide for more details.
For compatibility, there are too many models to list, but some common ones are: EZS8L, EZS8S, EZSDL, LZS8L, EZSTL8LC, LZSTL8LC, EZSDS, EZSTLG8SC, etc. It will not work for other models of water cooler like the VRC, LVRC, EMABF, or LMABF series of fountains. For those, see our Bottle Filler Retrofit Kit listings.
NOTE: If you already have a filtered water fountain, this retrofit kit will include some redundant parts including a filter and filter head bracket. In that case, you could order the EZSWRK which does not include these components but we still recommend this kit instead, for filtered fountains, because the EZWSRK does not include a filter status indicator.
The Elkay EZH2O® Bottle Filling Station delivers a clean quick water bottle fill and enhances sustainability by minimizing our dependency on disposable plastic bottles. Designed to retrofit existing 115V pushbar-activated EZ style water coolers. Bottle Filler features sanitary no-touch sensor activation with automatic 20-second shut-off timer.
- Touchless, sensor activation (bottle filler) designed for easy use; retrofits existing EZ 115V style coolers.
- Fill rate is 1.5 GPM.
- Visual filter monitor with LED filter status indicator for when filter change is necessary.
- The 3,000-gallon filter is certified to NSF 42 and 53 for lead, Class 1 particulate, chlorine, taste and odor reduction.
- Green Ticker informs user of number of 20 oz. plastic water bottles saved from waste.
- Laminar flow provides clean fill with minimal splash.

Good no-touch solution
We had installed a new water fountain just before Covid hit. Needless to say, it didn't get much use for a year or so. Then I was in a Nature Center in North Carolina, and saw one of these (the whole unit, not just the bottle filler) and I thought it would be a no-touch solution for our staff. This retrofit kit allowed us to not have to replace the whole fountain to get a bottle filler. It's pricy, but what isn't these days. Anyway, we provide free beverages to our staff, so this will pay for itself in less than a year, I think. One thing though: It's not a simple as just plopping it down on top of your fountain. If you have decent handyman on staff, you're golden. Otherwise you'd be better off hiring a plumber to install it. There's probably a video out there showing how to do it if you're determined.
