Water filters provide cleaner, great tasting water for drinking fountains, water coolers and bottle fillers. All of our filters are made with activated carbon to improve taste and odor. Many also reduce contaminants such as lead. Elkay’s filters are easy to connect and are self-contained replaceable cartridges, limiting exposure to contaminated media.
- Filter is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of PFOA and PFOS; two prevalent PFAS chemicals, lead, Class 1 particulates, cysts and chlorine taste and odor.
- Filter should be replaced every 2250 gallons or 1 year after installation.
- Equipped with Quick-Disconnect, 1/4 turn installation, as well as automatic inlet shut-off valve that closes when filter is removed.
- Designed to reduce lead, particles and chlorine. Also reduces odors and discoloration from incoming water.
- Spun Polypropylene prefilter mesh to prevent large, coarse sediment and particles from entering and clogging filter media.
- Filter is certified to NSF 42 and 53 for lead, particulate class 1, chlorine, taste and odor reduction.

Elkay Water Filter Size - An Explanation
How to change the filter on an Elkay EZH2O Bottle Filling Station.
This video shows how to replace the filter cartridge in a water fountain with or without a bottle filler. The information will apply to Elkay Water Sentry filter model numbers: WSF6000R, 51300C and 51299C as well as Halsey Taylor filter models: WSF6000R, 55898C, 55897C, These water filters are designed to fit all Elkay filtered drinking fountains and coolers such as the LZS8L, LZSTL8LC (any Elkay model that starts with an "L"). In addition, they will work with Elkay (EZH2O) and Halsey Taylor (HydroBoost) bottle filling stations.
Note that the 51299C and 55898C will NOT work with Enhanced Bottle Filling Stations ( LZS8WSLP, LZSTL8WSLP, LZS8WSSP, LZSTL8WSSP ) as they do not have the required RFID tag.
