Great product. But, read my WARNING for the elderly!
Perfect fit across my standard (residential) tub/shower. End brackets appear strong. I was going to replace the #8 flat-head screws that were provided, with #10 oval head. I wanted something extra-strong. But, the larger oval heads prevented the rod brackets from seating completely in the wall brackets. So, I used the #8's into studs. It does NOT sag, as I thought it might. It's amazing how much larger it made the shower feel. However, one thing to consider: It can be a bit disorienting, thinking the space is larger than it really is. I'm concerned that I might lean a bit too far, and fall over the edge of the tub! Probably NOT a good idea for elderly users. Maybe add a grab bar along the long wall of the shower, opposite the curved shower curtain.
