Explanation of White (or Gray) Shipping Film on Stainless Steel Products

Oh, no! I got my stainless steel product, but it has marks and scratches all over it!  And it's white!  I think they sent me a used or damaged product!  Fear not, intrepid viewer, all will be revealed.
